Educating Young Women in Rural Madurai

Karunai has developed a close relationship with Fatima College in Madurai. We regularly finance projects executed by the student-volunteers of Fatima. This year, we are aiming to raise 1,510,200 INR (~ 17,000 USD) to finance a series of classes for the young women in the rural villages in Madurai district. The classes will enable these women to earn a living from their own work. See left for the budget proposal.
